The County of Riverside 2005 Homeless Census is a public/private partnership between the County of Riverside and local cities, residents, businesses, and community organizations throughout the county. Under the direction of the Department of Public Social Services, many community volunteers are coming together to plan this unique local event. In addition, the Institute for Urban Research and Development has been selected as a consulting agency to help ensure success.

The County of Riverside 2005 Homeless Count will help our community

• promote community awareness about homelessness
  
• improve homeless service delivery
  
• provide valuable information for funding opportunities
