The City of Pasadena 2005 Homeless Count is a public/private partnership between the City of Pasadena and local residents, businesses, and community organizations. Under the direction of the City of Pasadena Department of Planning and Development/Housing and Community Development Division many community volunteers are coming together to plan this unique local event. In addition, the Institute for Urban Research and Development has been selected as a consulting agency to help ensure success.

The City of Pasadena 2005 Homeless Count will help our community

• promote community awareness about homelessness
  
• improve homeless service delivery
  
• provide valuable information for funding opportunities
