Volunteers Are Needed
- A minimum of 150 volunteers, or 50 teams of 3 people, will be needed to cover all the encampments (including street corner “hangouts”), freeway and riverbed areas, parks, and other areas that have been earmarked as “homeless areas”.
- A minimum of 6 volunteers are needed to conduct the “end of month” count at the Winter Shelter, the Multi-Service Center, and several of the major food program/ distribution centers on February 24, 25, and 26.
Volunteers Are Also needed
- to assist with phone calls and collating survey data.
- to promote community awareness of the count throughout the city;
- to volunteer and/or enlist volunteers to help complete the homeless count on Wednesday, March 12
